Brett Wetterich played in a Pro-Am in Florida on Monday and said his chances of teeing it upat the WGC-CA this week are "70/30," Golf Channel's Tim Rosaforte reported on Monday night.
Wetterich added that he feels guilty about returning to a guaranteed payday and won't play unless he's "really ready to go." He also has an open-ended understanding with Dr. James Andrews that if the shoulder (torn labrum) is causing pain, Andrews would perform the surgery, putting Wetterich outside the ropes for the better part of 2008. It's an intriguing situation since the WGC-CA Championship guarantees fantasy points in many formats.
